These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Secuno LLC (“Secuno,” “we,” “us”) for use of MailTo at mailto.site. Secuno’s company site is https://secuno.net. Our mailing address is 30 North Gould Street, Sheridan, Wyoming, USA 82801.
By opening mailto.site, generating an address, creating an account, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use MailTo.
1. The service
MailTo is a disposable email service. It lets you create a short-lived address, receive messages in the browser, copy or change the alias, open the inbox on another device with a QR code, and delete the inbox or let it expire. An optional free account can store history, favorites, and custom domains when those tools are enabled.
MailTo is not a personal mailbox, not a records archive, and not a confidential communications system. Addresses expire. Messages can be deleted without notice. Anyone who knows an address can open that inbox while it exists.
We may add, change, or remove features. We may take the site down for maintenance or because of abuse. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a fixed inbox lifetime for every address, or that a given sender will deliver mail to a disposable domain.
2. Operator and product sites
MailTo is operated by Secuno LLC, a limited liability company organized in Wyoming, United States. The product you are using is mailto.site. Secuno also operates https://secuno.net, which describes other software work. Those other services have their own terms unless they say they incorporate these Terms.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old. You must use MailTo only for lawful purposes. If you use MailTo for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
4. Accounts and guests
You can generate an address without an account. Guest access depends on a cookie or similar identifier in your browser. If you clear cookies, switch devices, or the identifier is lost, you may not get that inbox back.
If you create an account, you are responsible for the password and for activity under that account. Tell us through the contact form if you think the account was used without your permission. We may refuse a username, close an account, or require verification.
There is no paid plan or checkout on MailTo today. If we add paid features later, we will describe price and billing before you buy.
5. How you may use MailTo
You may use a disposable address for short, lawful tasks: trial signups, newsletter tests, downloads, form QA, and keeping marketing lists off a personal inbox. You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy.
You may not use MailTo to commit fraud, phish, spam, distribute malware, harass anyone, evade a ban or identity check that the law or another service requires you to complete honestly, or collect other people’s mail without authorization.
6. No confidentiality; your risk
A MailTo address is a public drop box for its lifetime. Do not use it for banking, medical, legal, or employment accounts you must recover later. Do not send passwords, one-time codes you need to keep, payment data, or anyone else’s personal data you are not allowed to share.
You are responsible for what you paste into forms and for what you download from a message. Scan attachments before you open them. We are not responsible for third-party sites that reject disposable domains, or for mail those sites never send.
7. Incoming mail and third parties
When someone sends mail to your MailTo address, that content is processed so we can show it to you. Senders do not become MailTo customers by mailing a disposable address. If you publish a MailTo address, you accept that strangers may write to it and that strangers who learn the address may read it.
8. Intellectual property
Secuno and its licensors own MailTo’s name, logos, design, and software. You may not copy, scrape at scale, reverse engineer, or resell the service except as the law allows. You keep rights in content you submit, and you grant us a limited license to host and display it as needed to run MailTo and to review it for abuse.
9. Acceptable use and enforcement
We may refuse, rate-limit, block, or delete an address, message, domain, or account when we believe these Terms or the AUP were broken, or when we need to protect the service or other people. We may keep logs needed to investigate abuse. We do not have to give advance notice when delay would cause harm.
10. Disclaimers
MAILTO IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, SECUNO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MAIL WILL ARRIVE, THAT AN INBOX WILL LAST A STATED TIME IN EVERY CASE, THAT THE SERVICE IS ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT IS FIT FOR CONFIDENTIAL OR REGULATED COMMUNICATIONS.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, SECUNO LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOST MAIL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF MAILTO WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR MAILTO IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) TWENTY-FIVE U.S. DOLLARS (US $25). SOME PLACES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS. IN THOSE PLACES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Secuno LLC against claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) that arise from your use of MailTo, your content, or your breach of these Terms or the AUP, except to the extent a court finds we caused the harm by our own willful misconduct.
13. Termination
You may stop using MailTo at any time and delete an inbox or account where those controls exist. We may suspend or end access at any time, including if you break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 6, 8, 10–12, 14, and 15) remain in effect.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any forum to stop abuse or protect the service. You and Secuno waive class actions to the extent the law allows. If a court finds a part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
15. Changes
We may change these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If you continue to use MailTo after an update, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
